Tips For Staying Healthy For Your Wedding Day

As your Wedding approaches and the day of the spotlight being all on you, it is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle in order to look your best on the outside and feel your best on the inside!  Here are some tips to assist you:

Diet

Your Diet is one of the most  important aspects to consider.  Healthy eating habits are crucial to keep you looking good, loose any weight you may wish to be rid of before the big day and maintain an overall healthy bride! Be sure to balance the right amount of  Vegetables, Fruit,  Lean protein, (i.e. Fish, White Meats versus Red and Lentils, etc.)  and Carbohydrates.  By doing so that will provide you with the energy you need to get through the busy hustle and bustle of planning your Wedding.  Try to also limit your alcohol consumption to reduce unwanted calories and purge your cupboards of any junk food – if it’s not there, then it cannot be eaten!

Vitamins

Ensure you take a daily Multivitamin to provide your body with the extra nutrients your diet may be lacking.  Vitamins also provide you with more energy and alertness, allowing you to focus more clearly which is imperative during your Wedding planning stage.  Be sure to take your Multivitamin with food so as not to upset your stomach.

Exercise

If you work out regularly at the Gym already, then perfect, just keep it up!  If not, perhaps join the Gym and ease into a workout routine.  Other forms of exercise can include swimming, yoga classes, taking the stairs instead of the elevator or parking your car further away from the mall entrance.  It is important to keep active in the Wedding planning stage, as the closer the wedding get, the more tasks and stresses you may incur.  By maintaining a healthier lifestyle, you will be more apt to have better stress management skills and organization to zap away at those last minute Wedding snags!

And finally, drink lots and lots of water to keep you hydrated, flush your toxins out and keep your skin glowing!
