Let The Guys Have Some Fun Too!!

As Grooms are becoming more involved in their Weddings and the planning of it, this has led them to have more input and opinions as to how the Wedding should flow.  With the Groom having more involvement, this has brought about a new trend of bringing the ‘Man’s Cave’ to the Wedding Reception.

With the evolution of Weddings starting to stray from your Guests remaining seated at their tables much of the night to a more Lounge Atmosphere, this has allowed the ability for the men to bring their ‘Man Cave’ to the Reception.

The Man Zone can be set-up within the Lounge area and could include a Cigar  Bar, but be sure to keep that segregated from non-smokers or even have the men enjoy the Cigars in a covered outdoor area.  Other appropriate features would be a Brandy or Whiskey Bar and a Beer Station serving various Draft Beers or Champagne on Ice.

The Man Cave could also include Video Games like Playstation, XBox or Rented Arcade Games.  Poker or Black Jack Tables are another option as is a Big Screen TV airing an all so important Sporting Event!  A Billards or Snooker Table would also be a great hit.

Decor for this non-feminine area should follow along the lines of Dark Leather Sofas and Chairs with plenty of Side and Coffee Tables for the guys to place their drinks.  Be sure to have beer nuts and other munchies casually placed around the Man Cave.

As the Bride you could decide whether to involve your Groom in planning the Man’s Cave or you could surprise him with it on your Wedding Day …. talk about Brownie points!!

Your Wedding Planner could coordinate this with your Reception Facility and rent the required Man Cave needs.

Happy Wedding Planning!
